Nipple M/M 4" BPS to extend the Composite water inlet height
In the below shown picture we show the Extended Water inlet section used in Dufour 520: Normally the female threaded side is directly connected with the male threaded thru-hull part. In this example, you see the stringer on the right, which form an obstacle for the inlet section. In order to elevate the ball Valve, the male threaded side of the composite elbow is with a 4" Composite socket directly connected with the Water Inlet Thru-hull part.
In order to connect the Female threaded side of the Elbow to the Ball Valve the WS-I-287-00 Nipple 4" BSP is used to connect both parts. It's a custom machined POM piece with optimized edges of this part for water flow improvement.
