PU-Sealant (Wurth)
We recommend to bond all BSP threaded parts with the PU-Marine Sealant. After you thoroughly cleaned and de-greased the parts, apply a generous amount of this sealant on the Male and Female threaded section. With your finger, spread the sealant, until you have a smooth layer which cover all threads (Very important) This will ensure a leak free connection, and extremely strong bond.
Thoroughly read the instruction manual before bonding the BSP threaded parts

Recommendation:
The PU-sealant is very difficult to remove from any surface after it's cured. Un-cured it's also very difficult to remove it from you tools, parts and hands.
There is a perfect solution, with the wet-wipe towels you can easily remove spilled sealant. Keep rubbing the parts until the sealant is totally vanshed.
If you do not remove excessive PU sealant, an installation will not look clean, might even looks sloppy. With help of these towels in an easy bucket dispenser, you can deliver a spotless and very clean installation, not to mention clean hands after you finished your work!
